Hi! You might have noticed Particle Kid music is no longer on Spotify. That is because Spotify is a data-mining subscription company masquerading as a music service that steals from human artists while pushing their own AI slop catalog, and then invests that stolen money into nightmare Orwellian AI battle tech like Palantir. I don’t support the for-profit war machine or any extractive parasitic entities and I refuse to allow my art to contribute to them if I can help it. You may have also noticed Particle Kid music is not available on Amazon Music, because techno-feudalism…. but enough about stuff that sucks!
The Flow, on the other hand, is a new upcoming creator-owned ecosystem that integrates music streaming, social media, and commerce all on one platform where artists can actually make a living off their music. The Flow does not steal your data or sell your information. It is a cooperative owned by the artists themselves. It’s made for you and me. There are no bots, no ads, and no AI scam music. Just humans. The architecture of The Flow has been designed to mirror natural systems on Earth which have a 13.5 billion year track record of success in staying resilient against parasitic systems, thriving through one apocalypse after another. It’s a place where the creative people who make the stuff are the people who actually benefit from the attention given to the stuff they make! Pretty simple.
I am a founding board member of The Flow, creative advisor and artist guild representative. I’ve worked alongside my friend Mike Hanuschik who is the founder and architect of The Flow. Everyone who has been involved in creating this is very excited to share it with all of you. I intend to release future Particle Kid music exclusively on The Flow and eventually escape the Meta-verse altogether. The future is ours to create…
If you’d like to support me and a more human creative ecosystem, whether you are an artist or a fan (or both), you can be part of the solution simply by joining The Flow when it launches very soon. Sign up for invite list at www.theflow.com.
In the meantime you can stream the new Particle Kid + Daniel Lanois ‘The Ocean Floor’ EP on Bandcamp and other DSPs or even better you can visit your local record store and buy it physically in the form of vinyl or CD (and then you will actually own it ! What a concept!)
Thankyu and have another day !
